Our trip to Camptel Poconos,at the beginning of May, was so peaceful and offered the perfect weather to enjoy all that amenities this place has to offer. Marianne was beyond welcoming, it is clear she truly cares about making the guests experiences as seamless as possible- by escorting you to your cabin and offering her info incase you need to teach her about anything. It was also warming to know they live nearby and constantly have maintenance on property in case anything were to happen. The cabins are uniquely themed, and offer modernly cozy interiors. The air and heat worked great and the full fridge and sink in Red Fox were a great surprise. Additionally, the spiral stairs and terrace are such a peaceful view and really expands the area to chill on the lot, it looked like other units may be getting this upgrade! Additionally, the amenities here were never busy, super inclusive, and fun. The hot tubs worked great and offer two different locations. Darts and ping pong were an unexpected surprise, which ended up being some of the most fun we’ve had competing with each other. Additionally, the gym and sauna were very nice and well maintained. There was also corn hole, volleyball, and a ton of other outdoor recreation and electric fire pits! Coming into this trip, it was a little unclear which cabins had exactly which appliances, as we were trying to plan our food accordingly. Additionally, we weren’t sure what amenities would be open on site. It sounds like they had paintball at one point but are still figuring out the land on that. There is a building for a restaurant, however there is currently no owner! We did try pizza from Pocono Pizza and it was incredible, garlicky, and cheesy goodness. Our delivery driver mentioned this property used to be a trailer park campground but that it got bought and crafted into Camptel! Camptel Poconos is unique and intimate. It’s not far from 476, split rock, and hawk falls trail. While they are still working on getting everything officially sorted, it is clear they are owners that are supportive throughout your stay and care future guest experience! Our original stay was scheduled for Valentine’s day weekend this year, however due to issues with the cold weather, Camptel Poconos cancelled everybody’s stay for the remaining winter season. While understandable, we were very disappointed to not get proper notification until a week prior to our trip, when we reached out. Using a third party booking site, I would recommend to call or message ahead to ensure everything is set for your arrival!

(05/04/2026) Our 2nd time visiting this beautiful glamping site and it still never disappoints. Marianne, the property manager, is truly the gem of this place. She goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels comfortable and enjoys their stay, always offering any assistance you may need during your visit. Our 1-night stay definitely wasn’t enough and honestly made me want to come back again for a longer stay. The tiny homes are very well maintained, clean, tidy, and complete with essentials for a comfortable getaway. We loved having our own fire pit, grilling station, microwave, and mini fridge. Such a perfect place to unwind, relax, and disconnect from the busy world for a while. Definitely looking forward to coming back again. The staff, location & the cabin itself is all excellent. I honestly can say that this was the best cabin we stayed so far. We do love that the staff was all accommodating, they do went with us to show our cabin, showed where we can find some particular button to have our stay more comfortable. Cabin itself is all clean, We love that the griller, fire pit, bonfire is just right outside the cabin, giving you an easy access with all that with some privacy, we don’t have to share it to other renters as we do all have it all. It is perfect for all group friends or couple wanted to have a great staycation. Definitely RECOMMENDED! 5 star!!

We went in early May and experienced exceptional privacy and a sense of exclusivity as the resort didn’t have many other guests. As city folk, we didn’t mind having to drive 20-30 minutes to food and activities, because each trip had breathtaking landscapes to and from camp. The promised opportunity to reconnect with nature was abundant at Camptel, from waking up to peaceful birdsong by the fire, to looking up at so many stars at night. We enjoyed the darts, gym, steam sauna, and hot tubs, all maintained with care, and including thoughtful details like spare towels. It was really nice to have those extras after a long day of adventuring! In fact, many more extras were included than expected, such as bar and dish soap. The cabin we stayed in (Penn State 1855) was adorable and so cozy that one of us hardly ever wanted to leave! Everything was in great working order and as described. Even though we enjoyed the privacy, I think this would be a excellent place to go with a very big group, such as a family reunion, due to the community style of the layout and tiny homes. I think it’s especially fun how each accommodation has its own personality to choose from! Overall Camptel was an excellent value and I would stay here again.

Marianne was wonderful. Very responsive and helpful when we had issues with our hot water. The cabin was clean and we'll maintained. We will definitely be back.
